Yesterday we spoke about Unibet’s huge leaps in the mobile gaming market and how mobile could well soon take over desktop as their main source of revenue, and today we’re following in the same vein with Betsson. Betsson have previously been quite behind when it comes to mobile gaming, but after a year focusing on this product, the results are now shining through.
Betsson are also showing significant growth in the mobile sector; smaller than many of it’s competitors but still very encouraging as they were fairly late to the mobile gaming party. They’re certainly making up for it now.
“We had fantastic mobile delivery in Q3 and saw an increase of usage the in mobile channel with mobile’s share of revenues up to 23% from 17% last quarter.”
– Magnus Silfverberg, Betsson CEO
As with Unibet, Sportsbook was the main player when it came to mobile revenues as it made up 40% of all Betsson sport revenues. They know what they’re doing when it comes to casino playing on mobile devices though and have partnered with Netent to offer Netent Touch– a selection of Netent games which are specifically optimised for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
