Betsson Still Shopping up a Storm!Betsson are somewhat of a powerhouse when it comes to online gaming, with acquisitions of existing sites and new site launches happening at an alarming rate. The rate of growth of this already huge company can be a fearsome thing and leaves The Betsson Group with a rather tainted reputation amongst players and iGaming professionals alike, but the fact remains that they must be doing something right. Just of those casinos listed here at they operate Casino Euro, Kroon Casino, Maxino, Mr Smith Casino, Nordicbet and Betsafe.

Each site has it’s own focus and brings it’s own personality to The Betsson Group table.

Betsson itself is rather a ‘safe’ online casino, which offers a little bit of everything and aims itself at those less acquainted with gaming.

Casino Euro is the ‘open to all’ casino, which has a mixed bag of languages including Arabic, Czech, English, German, Greek, Spanish, Polish, Russian and more. It has no set geographical target and aims to be appealing to the masses.

Kroon Casino is clearly aimed at the attractive Dutch market, with support in English and Dutch, a very orange design and has a great reputation within the Netherlands.

Mr Smith is an interesting one. Previously named Harry Casino, this was launched in 2011 as a way for the company to test the waters in the UK. They attempted to appeal to the British market to see if it was one they wanted to go hard into. According to Betsson’s CEO Magnus Silfverberg, Mr Smith exceeded expectations and they’re awaiting the full UK license to come through any day now.

Nordicbet, as the name suggests, is another Scandinavian offering, but this time with a little more about it. It’s aimed at Scandinavia only, so that’s players in Norway, Sweden and Finland and has been designed specifically with them in mind.

Betsafe is a more aggressive, in your face, out there kind of brand, which is designed to appeal to adrenaline junkies, risk takers and those who love fun above all else.

Now, the Betsson beast has announced they are looking at even more acquisitions, this time, specifically in a regulated market. Speculation is rife that they’re looking for a UK regulated site to add another British brand to their collection, but this has not yet been confirmed by Silfverberg.

Being a part of a big brand like Betsson never guarantees a casino is going to be ‘good’ or ‘bad’. It does guarantee, however, that there will be a mind boggling amount of money behind it, making new products, developments and bonuses incredibly versatile.
