Heypoker Casino is a Swedish site based in Malta, and with its sleek black and yellow design it is an easy to navigate hub where you can bet on sports, play casino games and of course, play poker. Those are the three main areas and it is a very nicely focused welcome page. It has clear tabs to get to each playing area , in which it’s easy to find the sports game you want to bet on, or the game you want to play.
Sign up is ok, I found a bit tricky because supposedly my username was already taken and I kept having to re-enter my password twice whenever I tried a new one, which I had to do a few times, but I got there eventually. The bonuses are tied to the amount of money you deposit, up to $ 2500, and there doesn’t seem to be any limitations when it comes to which country you’re from, which is nice. It also has a chat function, which can be convenient if you have any specific questions.
Payment methods are many and easy, you can pay by Credit Card, Neteller, Skrill, Instant Bank, Paysafecard and Webmoney. Only Paysafecard and Webmoney accept a € 10 mininum deposit, with the others you must deposit at least € 20.
Heypoker comes across as quite serious, and being a girl I found it seemed more orientated towards a male audience, which is totally fine of course, but girls bet online too ! I would say it was geared towards a corporate player, with its black colour scheme and firm lines. I know we have black on our own website but I find black just doesn’t invoke excitement most of the time, and playing online games for money is a really exciting thing to do!
I liked how in the Casino Black section there were so many games to choose from, including of course our much loved Netent games, and they were easy to find in the list on the right, and it was also very cool how they displayed the current jackpot prize money at the top, and a running tally of people’s winnings next to it. It’s a very clever encouragement to get people to play.
If you want to play poker you can download the software or play in the browser, which I really liked, and it tells you the amount of players that are online at the time and when tournaments are on and what the Buy In is.
Overall I found Heypoker really clear to navigate, and very informative in a nice and concise manner, though it did lack a little excitement for me personally.
