As it’s a good tradition, everybody is looking back on 2012 because, as the famous saying explains, “knowing your past, is knowing your future”. So at Netentcasino.com we also had a dive in our own news archives to see what this year has brought us, and to possibly pick up a glance of what Net Entertainment will bring us next year. So join us in our Netent 2012 retrospective of the most important Netent moments of the past year.
Netent started this year seemingly low paced by only releasing video slot Starburst™ in January, but this retro designed and simple game playing Both-Way-Wins slot would soon proof to be one of the biggest successes of all the Netent casino games releases this year.

Rumors surge Netent is planning a project to develop its own Live Casino software.
On the 21-st of February Netent releases video slot Subtopia™ and announces the official release date of video slot Scarface™, set on the 23-rd of April.
The first news about Netent in March was the announcement that starting from 01-03-2012 Per Eriksson would be in charge as the new CEO at Net Entertainment Productions. It was stated both his management skills as his broad experience in IT and software development made him the perfect choice to lead the company.
In this month Netent also presented its company year report over 2011 of which results showed a very successful year and a bright future ahead. It officially admitted their intention to develop their own Netent Live Casino software and commented it would focus in 2012 strongly on expanding their Mobile casino games portfolio.
On the 21-st of March Netent releases forensic crime investigation inspired video slot Crime Scene™.
In the first 3 months Netent clearly sets the tune with loads of releases of video slots and promises of both other casino games and casino software still to launch.
