Net Entertainment takes a bigger part of Italian iGaming pizza

Net Entertainment closes deal with major iGaming platformWithout a doubt at Net Entertainment they like “husmanskost” (freely translated “house wife’s food”) as a Swedish culinary specialty as well as “ġbejniet” (luckily I don’t need to pronounce that!) a cuisine specialty from Malta. But they also like (who doesn’t?) the most famous Italian dish, being of course pizza. Because a couple of months ago they already closed a deal with one of the biggest Italian lotto, bingo and casino providers Lottomatica and Lottosi.com. Now they’ve expanded their “piece of the Italian iGaming pizza pie” by closing a deal with GameAccount Network that will offer the Netent games to various local Italian casino operaters.

GameAccount is an English (private owned) company and the world’s biggest provider of online (skill) gaming, delivering “business to business” services for big online gaming operators such as William Hill, Paddy Power and Sportingbet. As an iGaming platform the GameAccount network serves 2,000,000 gamers worldwide and is particularly active on the Italian and Spanish regulated markets. In Italy the network is operating several well-known online casinos such as Snai, Sisal and Eurobet.

With the deal Net Entertainment will offer some of its best PC and mobile games to the Italian casinos operated by GameAccount, thus strengthening its presence on the Italian regulated iGaming market. In the words of Björn Krantz, Chief of GMO and MD at Net Entertainment Malta:

“We are delighted to partner with GameAccount Network, a partnership that will enable us to offer our best in class games portfolio to multiple local operators using one single platform interface. Italy is one of Net Entertainment’s core markets and we are positive that our portfolio offering will be well received by GameAccount Network and its major partners. The integration process with GameAccount Network will start immediately and the go live process with individual operators will take place gradually as a phased roll out approach.”

Net Entertainment is continually closing deals with major online casino gaming operators and subsequently penetrating various regulated iGaming markets. Last year the company reached various agreements with big UK based online casinos such as Bet365, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power and, by the purchase of two of the biggest Dutch online casinos (being Kroon Casino and Oranje Casino) by Betsson, soon will enter the Dutch regulated market too.

We congratulate both Net Entertainment and GameAccount with the agreement and of course the Italian gamers that will have even more options to enjoy the exciting Netent video slots and other (Netent Touch) casino games developed by Netent.
