NetEnt now with 2 feet firmly on USA (New Jersey) iGaming grounds!

Published on 26 June 2015 by Sebas

NetEnt has signed a deal with New Jersey based Caesars Interactive EntertainmentYesterday NetEnt announced it has struck a deal with Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE) to provide the latter with NetEnt casino games. This means NetEnt now has a second ‘foot’ firmly set on the promising New Jersey iGaming ‘hunting grounds’.

Think gambling, think…Vegas (or New Jersey)!

The history of America has a lot to do with ‘exploring’ new ‘grounds’ and it seems there’s still a lot of ‘territory’ to be discovered and some of its history still to be ‘written’…

Because although the USA prides itself to be the ‘home of the brave and the free’ and although in some states ‘gambling’ (in land-based, ‘brick-and-mortar’ casinos) has been legalized and regulated for almost a century now, only recently the country has decided to regulate ‘online’ gaming, and only in a few states.

Mind you, we’re talking about a ‘home’ in which only some ‘brave’ managed to establish the (as far as I know ‘free’) ‘American Dream’, simply by turning ‘desert dust’ into what’s nowadays worldwide known as ‘gaming Mecca’ Las Vegas. And who says ‘Las Vegas’ could also immediately think of Caesars Palace, one of the most renowned and iconic luxury hotel / casinos on the famous Las Vegas ‘Strip’ and of course related to the same ‘Caesars Interactive’ company NetEnt has closed a deal with.

Caesars Interactive Entertainment is licensed by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission (“CCC”) and with that fact is the second big American ‘partner’ for NetEnt, after Borgata and bwin.party of which NetEnt two weeks ago announced it would provide its extended portfolio of desktop and mobile games to also.

The usual comments by NetEnt and CIE

Of course representatives of both involved companies commented on the new deal. Björn Krantz, Managing Director of NetEnt America LLC (and former head of operations at NetEnt Malta), for example said:

“We are excited to have partnered with CIE for the distribution of our best-in-class multichannel online casino games for the New Jersey market. I am confident that our games will be well received by players, and that our efforts to provide players with the ultimate gaming experience will support CIE’s strategy to build sustainable long term online casino growth.”

Marco Ceccarelli, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of CIE ‘defended’ the agreement stating:

“CIE strives to offer its customers in New Jersey a diverse selection of the highest quality gaming content, and the inclusion of NetEnt’s titles in our portfolio provides us with another opportunity to deliver superior value to our players.”

We congratulate the two companies with their intended cooperation and we can’t wait to see the exciting NetEnt games available on both desktop as well as mobile (NetEnt Touch) playable at Caesars Palace. As soon as this really is the case (or if any other information about the deal is revealed) you’ll be the first to read about it over here.
