Netent Touch Gonzo’s Quest Review

Published on 9 October 2014 by Rhi

Netent is one of the greatest casino game software providers in Europe (and maybe even the world) and they know the importance of being accessible anywhere, anytime. Welcome, Netent Touch. Touch software allows their games to be playable not only on desktop but also on mobile and tablet devices. In this day and age we want everything on the go and casino games are no different. Today I’m playing on Netent Touch Gonzo’s Quest and seeing how I get on.

About Gonzo’s Quest

Gonzo’s Quest was Netent’s first platinum slot game and was specifically designed to appeal to both new and experienced players. The game is based on Gonzalo Pizarro and our character sets off to find the lost city of Eldorado, rumoured to be a city of gold. Gonzo stands by your side on this adventure, encouraging you as you go. This game features an innovative Avalanche feature whereby certain reels stick and others disappear in a 3D explosion and others fall into place in the gaps.

Anytime there is a winning spin, the multiplier increases and the Avalanche continues with each win. The multiplier goes all the way up to x5 plus there is a free spin feature to keep things exciting.

Gonzo’s Quest on Netent Touch

For this review I played Gonzo’s Quest on Google Chrome and the game immediately warns me that the game is optimised on Safari. This doesn’t mean it wont work on other browsers, it just lets you know it’s not specifically designed for and tested on your browser, so if you experience any issues, you know you should hop over to Safari to fix them, however I didn’t encounter any issues on Chrome. I turn the screen horizontally, so it mimics the shape of a desktop computer and I can see the reels best. It fits a lot nicer this way and you can see everything you need to. The game is big and clear, the graphics smooth, crisp and bright. There is no pixelating, no lag, nothing to hinder the enjoyment of the game at all. All the settings can be found in the Menu button on the bottom right and you can read a detailed explanation of the Netent Touch Settings here, but it’s pretty straight forward. Here you can amend your bet level and coin value, check the paytable, see the game rules as well as change the sound and autospin settings.
