Netent recently won Digital Gaming Innovator of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards 2014 and for long time fans, it’s really no surprise. Did you know that Netent created mobile friendly versions of a whole host of their games, which requires rewriting the game from scratch? We’re working through the portfolio to bring you detailed reviews of all the Netent Touch options available and today we’re talking about Jack Hammer Touch.

About Jack Hammer

Netent’s Jack Hammer looks like a 5-reel, 3-row video slot, but actually, each of the 15 squares spins independently making this a 15 reel video slot! It has 25 win lines and features Sticky Wins, Free Spins and Wild substitutions, all of which help you on your way to big wins. Jack Hammer is set in the gritty and glam criminal underworld, starring a private eye aiming to rid the city of evil.

Jack Hammer Netent Touch

When loading up Jack Hammer as a Netent Touch game on my Samsung mobile, the first thing it tells me to do is to turn the phone sideways. This is so the shape of the screen is the same shape as a desktop computer, thus giving the game the best space to display. It fits the screen fully and can be easily minimised (simply drag from the top).

Once you’ve turned your phone the correct way, you’ll immediately be prompted to select ‘On’ or ‘Off’ for the sound. This is a great feature, as it means the sounds wont automatically begin playing which can be annoying if you’re somewhere quiet!

The sounds will be as loud as your mobile volume settings and you can turn the sounds up and down or on and off at any time via the settings, located in the top right. Here you can also check the paytable and game rules as well as amending the bet level and coin value.

The graphics are absolutely perfect- bright and crisp and gameplay is seamless. There is no lag, or buffering slowing you down. In all, Netent Touch games are perfect for playing on the go, there is no loss of quality when playing on a mobile device and so the fun can go wherever you do!
