As always around this time of year, in the last week, we have been told about all the new releases from Net Entertainment for the first three months of 2016. Given that 2015 saw the introduction of a huge number of games with a variety of themes; all universally welcomed with open arms by lovers of NetEnt slots, we were expecting great things. But now we’ve actually seen the line-up? We’re even more excited!
On March 22nd, just a few days shy of Easter, NetEnt will be releasing Aloha. Now, we don’t know a huge amount about the latest member of the video slot family, but we have managed to glean a few vital details. We’re told that Aloha will be quite unique; incorporating an innovative design, and there will be a slight twist on the standard pay lines it operates. We can’t say too much but, we’ve heard enough to be incredibly enthused about this game- despite it still being months to launch date, with several other games due for release in the meantime.
ALOHA; DESIGN AND THEME
The name ‘Aloha’ (a word adopted by Hawaiians to mean everything from hello and goodbye to love, respect and affection) infers a Hawaiian theme. We are yet to see the graphics but, typically, think of Hawaii and you can conjure images of bright colours, a tropical paradise, floral designs and- perhaps a little clichéd- Luau’s with grass skirts and leis.
Known for its occupants warm, welcoming hospitality, if the slot is based on the Islands culture, we imagine the game will be a fun place to be.
ALOHA; SPECIAL FEATURES
As with other NetEnt slots, we expect Aloha will contain some special features to delight players and maximise chances of winning big. Perhaps a way to gain free spins and trigger multipliers? Some graphically-stunning wilds or scatter symbols? Perhaps an all-out Hawaiian-themed bonus round? Who knows! All we expect is that, as with all of NetEnt’s latest releases, it’ll be completely different to anything we’ve seen before; with a great design, music and graphics. More than anything, we can’t wait to see NetEnt mean when they say it’ll be an innovation in game design. Roll on March 2016!
