New Netent Video Poker Footage: Jacks or Better Double Up

Published on 23 September 2014 by Rhi

As we’ve already mentioned, Net Entertainment are not just about releasing fun, new games, but are constantly working to improved their existing portfolio too. Recently some of their video pokers got a makeover and today we’re talking about the improved Jacks or Better Double Up Video Poker game.

Video Poker

Video poker is a casino game, always based on a five-card draw. You are dealt five cards and can hold the ones you like, and discard the ones you don’t, for the chance to improve your hand. After the draw your hand is final and you win or lose depending on the hand you finish on. Jacks or Better is the most common type of video poker, whereby payouts begin with a pair of jacks.

Net Entertainment Jacks or Better Double Up

Netent video poker fans will recognise this as it’s not a new Netent game- simply a revised version of their existing Jacks or Better offering. Here, you can see a preview of the new game as well as some information on what exciting changes to expect. Netent’s main aim, with these improved versions, is that they have more of a computer game feel, rather than a traditional video poker game. It has a slick, ultra modern look and is fast, easy and fun to play.

Netent’s Jacks or Better Double Up is a single player video poker game. You can select your stake and the number of hands you wish to play (with 1, 5, 10, and 25 hand versions on offer). You are then dealt 5 cards per hand, can select to hold certain cards and draw the rest. Finally, you are paid out depending on the final hand(s) you hold. All the payouts are listed above the game, which is super handy, so you can always see what’s coming.

There is now a Double Up feature, which is a new addition, that allows you to gamble every time you have a winning hand. You can simply choose to collect your winnings, or you can gamble on the colour of a card to potentially double your win. If you win the gamble feature, you can either collect or gamble again and again up to x5 to really maximise your wins!

This improved Jacks or Better video slot, now with Double Up feature is due to be released on October 23rd, so keep your eyes peeled and have a play.
