Published on 5 May 2017 by Adrian

Malta’s iGaming Excellence Awards 2017On 5th May, the 1st edition of the Malta iGaming Excellence Awards will be held. Over 600 c-level participants from different sectors in the iGaming industry will be attending the gala event with awards in different categories and a top-notch entertainment program.

Background

With the rapid expansion of the iGaming industry, especially on the Maltese Islands, the Malta’s iGaming Excellence Awards will bring together and give rewards for success in a slew of industry areas including sports betting, affiliate marketing sectors, regulation, innovation, start-ups as well as land and online-based casinos. The organisers, Malta Business Review, led by Mr. Martin Vella, have a portfolio of organising such events, both locally and overseas, spanning a good 10 years. Two successful events of note are Malta’s Best Entrepreneur of the Year Awards and Malta’s Best-in-Business Awards.

Goals and Organiser’s Thoughts

The goal the organisers have set for themselves this time is to put together the most prestigious iGaming award event intended to bring together most of the high-profile iGaming representatives that will also serve as a catalyst for B2B networking for potential sharing of knowledge and business development. Mr. Vella expresses his thoughts on the upcoming event in saying that by bringing together as many industry clusters as possible, this will help keep the industry flourishing, while also taking the opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of select individuals and companies who’ve proven to be key roles in helping the industry advance, and who have, in turn, contributed to the island’s economic growth. And since the event is for everyone who has an active role or who simply shares an interest in iGaming, the event’s doors are open to everyone.

Distinguished Guests

Some of the NetEnt Casino affiliates that are on the guests’ list include Video Slots, SlotsMillion, OVO Casino, Tipico, Energy Casino, LeoVegas, with some of them taking up active roles on the jury panel. The jury will judge 28 categories, decorating the winner of each one with a reward.

Wrapping up MIGEA

The organisers of Malta’s iGaming Excellence Awards 2017 welcomes anyone involved in iGaming to participate and be nominated in any one of the categories in, what they hope to make, the biggest nomination event in iGaming with plenty of networking opportunities and a dazzling night full of surprises and entertainment.
