NetEnt's Motörhead Video Slot Release Date: 12th July

The release date for Motörhead, the final release in the NetEnt Rocks video slot series has finally been announced. You would struggle to have missed two of the latest hit releases from NetEnt, the first two games in their ‘NetEnt Rocks’ series; Guns N’ Roses and Jimi Hendrix. Both of these video slots, based on the musical artists of the same name have proved hugely successful, combining players’ loves of both slots and rock music.

Well next up, and timely considering the recent sad passing of their frontman Lemmy, Motörhead are getting their own video slot tribute. Even the order of this release works, Lemmy Kilmister actually worked as a roadie for Jimi Hendrix before making it big with both Motörhead and Hawkwind. So when will this slot be released and what can we expect? NetEnt have just published their Q3 Roadmap for 2016 so we finally have some intel for you.

NetEnt’s Motörhead Slot: The Ace of Slots

Considering Motörhead’s biggest hit is about gambling, we can’t say we’re surprised they were picked as the act for the third and final slot in the NetEnt Rocks series. Who can’t enjoy spinning the reels to the strains of Lemmy singing ‘If you like to gamble, I tell you I’m your man, you win some, lose some, it’s all the same to me’. Not necessarily encouragement, but definitely fitting. We have no doubts The Ace of Spades is going to feature on the slot playlist, the other tracks however are a mystery. Will we be Killed by Death? Will Dead Men Tell no Tales? Or could it all be Overkill? What’s for sure is that we’re going to Bite the Bullet and give this slot a go.

Motörhead features

Based on what we’ve seen in the Guns N’ Roses and Jimi Hendrix slots, we have no doubt that Lemmy himself is going to take pride of place among the symbols, wilds and bonus rounds of the slot. He’s got to be donning that signature hat with the two moles on his left cheek and he’ll definitely be rocking out. At this point, it’s all speculation but Lemmy lived by his album title ‘Live Fast Die Old’ so we’ll definitely be expecting some high adrenaline features from this slot. There could be a flame-throwing guitar as he sometimes played at gigs, there definitely ought to be his hat and we’d hope his famous bass guitar. The details remain to be seen!

NetEnt Rocks slots

The NetEnt Rocks slot collection kicked off with Guns N’ Roses which was released this January and proved an instant hit, being picked up by the majority of NetEnt Casinos and continuing to feature in numerous welcome packages and promotions. The next slot in the series is Jimi Hendrix, released in April and possibly with even greater success thanks to some groovy graphics. Motörhead is going to be the third and final release and considering their legendary frontman Lenny Kilmister died in December of last year, we can’t help feeling that this might be why Motörhead were chosen, besides the fact they’re basically the godfathers of heavy metal.
