Sky Vegas’ New Ad Campaign Goes Rock’n’Roll

If you’re based in the UK or Ireland, and have been watching a lot of television over the last couple of days, you might well have spotted Sky Vegas’ latest advertising campaign. To be fair, with its bright colours, full-on-Vegas theme, American drawl voiceover and guitar riff soundtrack, you’d struggle to miss it.

The latest advertising re-brand accompanies a complete overhaul of their casino site, and is all part of the Sky Vegas master plan to poach the top spot as the UK’s premier online casino.

THE LOW-DOWN ON SKY VEGAS

Sky Bet (Sky Vegas’ online sportsbook division brother) started the UK giant, British Sky Broadcasting Group PLCs, foray into the betting world in 2000, with Sky Vegas coming along in 2003 to provide players with an option for flash and Live Casino betting.

Predominantly aimed at the UK market- with the site restricted only to players from the UK, Ireland, Gibraltar and Finland, the company has become quite the mainstay in the industry, and offers a wide range of games- although not a huge variety of Netent options at the time of writing.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM SKY VEGAS’ LATEST AD CAMPAIGN

The first instalment of the four-ad campaign was aired on Monday 5th October and is an all-singing, all-dancing, Vegas spectacular. The adverts revolve around four individuals knuckling down to everyday, menial tasks, who are then transported to the Las Vegas Strip, with their journey into a land of decadence and extravagance shown in the reflection of the sunglasses worn by each.

Head of Casino Marketing at Sky Vegas, Daniele Phillips, explained that the new ads were designed to set the casino apart from its competitors, and suggested that the overall vision they wanted to create was one of “humour, swagger with a hint of Vegas Rock and Roll”.

24K TO SPEND IN 24 HOURS

Following on with the theme, Sky Vegas are also due to begin a nine-week promotion any day now, with players in the running to win shares in daily jackpots, as well as entry into the grand draw; with a lucky player winning a huge £24,000 to spend in Las Vegas in just 24 hours.
