Deuces Wild Video Poker Game Tutorial

Deuces Wild video poker is played with 1 hand and 1 deck of cards that is shuffled before each round. Other versions of Deuces Wild are available, games with 10, 25, and 50 hands, but we assume the 1 hand version.

Deuces Wild is played according to the conventional poker rules where the poker hands are concerned. The only exceptions are the deuces. These are wild cards, which means they can be used to complete a winning hand.

How to Play Deuces Wild

Poker Hands

The following poker hands are used in Deuces Wild video poker:

• Natural Royal Flush: Royal Flush without a deuce.
• 4 deuces
• Royal Straight Flush: A Royal Straight Flush completed with a deuce.
• 5 of a Kind
• Straight Flush: 5 consecutive cards from the same suit
• Four of a Kind: 4 cards with the same value (9, 9, 9, 9)
• Full House: 3 cards of the same value and two cards of the same value (5, 5, 5 and K, K for example)
• Flush: 5 cards from the same suit (5 clubs for example)
• Straight: 5 consecutive cards from different suits
• Three of a Kind: three cards with the same value (K, K, K for example)

Deuces Wild Video Poker Bet Limits

Deuces Wild video poker offers you various betting possibilities. First you can choose from the following coin values: 10 vents, 20 cents, 50 cents, 1 euro, 2 euros, 5 euros, and 10 euros. It is also possible to bet every coin value up to 5 times because there are 5 different bet levels. The bet levels and coin values give the following minimum and maximum bet limits:

Minimum bet is a coin value of 10 cents and level 1 = 0.10 euro
Maximum bet is a coin value of 10 euro and level 5 = 50 euros

Pay Table / Win Plan

The payouts of Deuces Wild video poker depend on the poker hands you get. In the playing screen you immediately see an overview of all possible hands and their payouts. In the table at the left side of the screen you see the payouts for the level you chose.

Possible Settings

Deuces Wild video poker has a number of settings that may be adjusted. You do this by using the two icons you can find at the bottom left of the screen.

The sound can be turned on or off by using the speaker icon.

The wrench icon allows you to also adjust the following settings:

• Sound Effects
• Fast Play
• Always play “Gamble”
• Never play “Gamble”
• Game History (not available in practice games)

Deuces Wild Video Poker Manual

Deuces Wild video poker is controlled by the buttons at the bottom of the screen. First you can choose a coin value that you want to play with by using the COIN VALUE button. The arrows allow you to raise or lower the coin value. The bet level is set by repeatedly clicking the BET LVEL button. The numbers 1 to 5 on the left of the screen show you which bet level you have activated. When you click the bet level button, the pay table will also automatically adjust, so you can immediately see for what profit you play. The MAX BET button allows you to play the highest level with the chosen coin value at once. After you click this button the cards will be dealt immediately.

After you have set the coin value and bet level, you can click the DEAL button. You will be dealt 5 cards. When a poker hand can be made with the 5 cards, these cards will automatically be held. If you do not want this, you can click the HELD button below the cards to release them. If you want to hold other cards, click the HOLD button below them. Now click DRAW, and your second round of cards will be dealt for the cards that were not held.

When you won, you can collect your winnings by clicking the COLLECT button or you can try to raise your profit by clicking the GAMBLE button. When you opt for GAMBLE, a new window will open with two games. In the one game you will have to pick the color, and in the other game the suit of the card in the center. As long as you guess right, you can continue; if you guess wrong, you will be returned to the main game. You can also return to the main game by clicking COLLECT.
