League of Wilds offers players decent volatility and fun special wild features
When it was acquired by Paddy Power in 2011, Cayetano was a relatively new company to the industry. By 2012, the developer had already released three titles available for play on Power Paddy’s website. Its growth didn’t stop there, and its portfolio surged to 25 titles by 2013. By 2014, Cayetano’s potential was abundantly clear. From solid release to solid release, the developer continued to refine its offerings to create consistently entertaining slots.
This brings us to Cayetano’s newest release. League of Wilds is a worthy addition to the company’s line. It combines an almost retro art style with modern gameplay, giving players an engaging experience from the first spin. The game has 20 paylines and a 5×3 grid that serves as the perfect backdrop for its medium to high volatility and RTP of 95.26%.
League of Wilds features four heroes fighting against an interstellar intruder, the Minions army. They want to take over the planet in order to mine its resources, gutting its beauty in favour of practicality. Luckily, our heroes are ready to unleash their superpowers upon their unwitting enemies as players send them scurrying across the board.
One of the more exciting features of the slot occurs when a Minions symbol or an Evil Lord lands on the grid. When this happens, all of the Star Wilds that are within the same row transform into Hero Wilds. There are four potential heroes – Green, Purple, Red and Blue – and each of them awards its own multiplier spanning from 3x to 10x. If a Green Hero is included in a winning line, players will be awarded a multiplier of up to 10x.
The free spins round is another positive of League of Wilds, yielding between 10 and 20 free spins depending upon the number of Star Wild symbols on the board.
