Change is Afoot, as Bet365 Moves Operations from UK to GibraltarBet365 are one of the largest gaming operators in the world, growing every single day and this doesn’t look like it’ll be slowing down any time soon. I recently told you about their launch, focusing on the licensed Italian market and now there are even more changes ahead for this gaming giant.

Bet365, a renowned Netent casino, will be moving the bulk of their operations to sunny Gibraltar, a small but powerful hub of the online casino world. The move comes at a time when Bet365 are really looking to streamline and organise their company effectively and this is the next step in making the licensing process much quicker and easier.

The Government of Gibraltar and the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner issue gaming licenses to those companies based on the rock, and are renowned for their strict regulations and fair play policies making them a very attractive option for companies who offer a safe and enjoyable service to customers. Being based there will really help Bet365 with their quest to enter strictly regulated markets such as the UK, Spain, Denmark, Australia and, of course, Italy.

Bet365 do things right though- they’re not only fair to their customers but amazingly fair with their staff too. The restructuring affected more than 100 job roles which were moved from the UK to Gibraltar. The new team in Gib consists of relocated staff from the UK as well as plenty of newly hired people, however, not a single redundancy occurred because of the move. If someone in the UK office could not, or did not want, to make the move, they were offered alternative roles which could remain in the UK. This is quite a revolutionary tactic and shows that Bet365 are not only one of the best online casinos in the world, they’re also one of the best companies to work for.

They will still have a huge operation in the UK and are, in fact, moving to bigger offices. The departments remaining in the UK include technical, development, software and marketing positions, so the company is still a great job source within the UK, remaining the largest private employer in Stoke-on-Trent, where it all began.
