I actually used to work at Betfair, many years ago, so have always been a bit smug that I fully understood the somewhat complex idea of the ‘Exchange’ betting, considering myself a site expert. I was over the moon when I heard they were adding Netent games but was feeling pretty stupid when I couldn’t find them anywhere on their site. Turns out they’ve stuck them in the “Arcade” section, rather than the usual “Casino” section, where most online casinos keep their video slots.
OK so now we’ve found the games, what do they have available? The answer is: not much. But this is soon to change. They’ve been adding the games slowly but surely and at the time of writing you will find the following Netent video slots available in Betfair’s Arcade;
- Gonzo’s Quest
- Jack and the Beanstalk
- Jack Hammer
- Jack Hammer 2
- Robin Hood
- South Park
- South Park: Reel Chaos
- Twin Spin
- Wild Water.
I think you’ll agree this is a fairly pitiful selection, however at least it includes some of our favourite games and they’ve already seen a great player response on the games so more are planned.
Tornado Farm Escape will be the next Netent game to be added to the Betfair Arcade, and is planned for the end of this month, then they plan to add Steamtower in early March. I think we’ll see them adding most of the newer releases with the eventual aim of having the full portfolio but that might be some time away.
They’re also planning on adding some Netent jackpots, although there is no definite date for this and they can’t say just yet whether it’ll be pooled, local or a mix of the two.
Currently, Betfair are a little limited with their promotions, as they’ve added Netent to Arcade, they can’t offer traditional casino bonuses that we’re used to. They’re working on this though and some time this year they’ll be able to offer the kind of bonuses and promotions that Netent and casino fans are accustomed to.
