Mr Green Player Review

Published on by Adam

Mr Green Player Review We are a Netent fansite, which allows us to be completely impartial about all the casinos that are listed. We simply create a review sheet with the facts about that casino, give them an honest star rating based on strict criteria and then allow you, the readers and players, to make up your minds. We have the player star ratings, where players can rate each casino based on their experience, so you can get an idea of the player experience as well as the facts. As well as all that, we attempt to sign up as normal players and experience the casinos for ourselves to bring you an all round, honest as possible, review of each casino.

Today I signed up to Mr Green and gave them a spin to see exactly what the site is all about and whether it’s one I personally would recommend players to choose.

The Signup Process

The registering process is nice and simple. It’s split into 3 sections (Username & Password, Personal Information, Validation) and as you complete one, the next section will open.

Username & Password

  • E-mail
  • Mobile Number
  • Password (must contain at least one digit and be 6-25 characters long).

Personal Information

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Country
  • DOB
  • Address
  • Gender
  • Agree to Terms and Conditions.

  • A code will be sent to the registered mobile phone number (so be sure to enter a valid one) which you must insert into the form. At this point you can opt to update the phone number and re-send if needs be.

Making a Deposit

There’s not much to say about the deposit process at Mr Green- it took just seconds and couldn’t have been more simple. I clicked the green “Deposit” button in the top right, opening the cashier. A number of options were presented (Visa & Mastercard, Paysafecard, Ukash, Trustly and more) and I clicked Skrill. My deposit was instant and, more importantly, free!

Welcome Bonus

No Deposit Free Spins

As soon as my account was created (which took about 2 minutes) the 20 No Deposit Free Spins were ready and waiting for me. You can choose whether to have them on Starburst, Fruit Shop or Scarface, simply open the game you prefer. I went for Starburst and span through them at my leisure.

Once the Free Spins were done, I didn’t have much in the way of winnings, so I just span through those too, until they were gone (must wager x35 before they can be withdrawn anyway!) and then moved on to make my deposit.

Deposit Bonus

Mr Green’s welcome bonus is pretty generous. As well as the Free Spins before you’ve even made a deposit, they reward your first FOUR fundings into the account! For my first deposit I made the minimum deposit of €10 and immediately had a total 0f €20 to play with. There was no need to enter a bonus code or wait for the money, it arrived at once. The cashier even told me before I made my deposit, how much I’d get. I typed in €10 and it showed me “+ €10 bonus money”.  I’ve not made a 2nd, 3rd or 4th deposit yet, but when I do I will get bonuses there too;

  1. 100% up to €100.
  2. 50% up to €50.
  3. 25% up to €100.
  4. 125% up to €100.

Player Experience

The Mr Green website is honestly a joy to use. I just clicked “All Games” in the top centre of the screen and everything is laid out for me. Categories are listed on the left hand side to filter results (Video Slots, Roulette, Blackjack etc), you can sort alphabetically, by rating, or else type the game name in the search box.

I went straight to Mr Greens exclusive Netent video slot “The Marvellous Mr Green” to give that a whirl. I loved the page setup for one thing. On the left hand side was a ‘Fun Fact’ widget;

Did you know that Mr Green is actually an orphan? Abandoned at birth on the steps of an orphanage, his birth parents left no clue as to their identity apart from a particularly expensive stroller, expensive baby clothes, a bag of cash for the nuns and a note.

I thought this was a really nice touch as it added a bit of personality and backstory to the brand, which in turn makes you feel more connected to them and their story. At the bottom of the game is a rating feature where you have 1-5 bowler hats and click how many you think it deserves (the more you like it, the more hats it gets) and these ratings affect how the games are displayed on the homepage.

The Marvellous Mr Green Video Slot

The Marvellous Mr Green Netent video slot, made exclusively for Mr Green is not the most exciting, edge of your seat slot available, but it’s still an enjoyable one. It’s not packed full with different features, but has an opulent feel, with expensive cars, mansions and a green umbrella or too. The game runs smoothly and is an ‘easy play’ one in my books, much like music that’s ‘easy listening’. It does have Wild Symbols and Scatter Symbols to spice things up a bit, plus a Free Spins round and random multipliers. I got a few x2’s and x5’s every now and again on a winning spin which were very well received.

Overall Feel

Overall, I love the Mr Green website. It’s a kind of ‘no thrills’ site, which gives you exactly what you need in an easy to use way, whilst still offering nice extra touches such as the exclusive game and the rating system. When I can rate a game based on my own personal opinion I feel like I’m being heard, making a difference. The signup process was streamlined and the welcome bonus presented no hassle what so ever. I’d have no problems recommending this casino to my slot loving friends and family, which is why I have no doubt that, should you try this casino as your next Netent casino, you will not be disappointed.
