Nope, of course Netent (although they’ve got lots of it in their home country Sweden) won’t head for real ice to skate some laps “just for the fun of it”. What we’re talking about is the International Casino Exhibition (ICE) that’s held every year in London and which is widely considered to be the biggest and most important event in the casino gaming business. Of course also Net Entertainment, as market leading casino software developing company, will attend the exhibition taking place on 4 – 6 February 2014 and we’re already curious what will be this year’s surprise coming from the Swedish / Maltese company.
The ICE event is organized every year by Totally Gaming/Clarion Events and consists of conferences, seminars and the exhibition of their products by the participating exhibitors. Of course all main “players” in the casino gaming business from all over the world are present, as well as companies that deliver supporting services and products like, for example, payment service providers. The ICE is also regarded as the main networking event for the gaming business where deals are closed and partnerships announced.
Every year also Net Entertainment is prominently present at the ICE and, like many other companies do, the company uses the gathering of everyone that has something to do with (online) casino gaming to announce or present its latest and newest projects. For example, during its participation in the exhibition of 2012 Net Entertainment launched the video slot Scarface and during the ICE 2013 it announced the development of video slot South Park that was eventually launched later that year.
What’s this year’s surprise for the fans of the exciting Netent games at this moment is still unknown and “highly secret”. We only know Net Entertainment will be revealing a “branded” game, and that this new game will be released in April 2014.
Of course we will be reporting extensively about the participation of Net Entertainment at the ICE 2014 so our advice is to keep a close eye on our newsflashes over here where you read the latest news about Netent and the Netent products first.
