Net Entertainment not only treats us every month on a brand new Netent video slot release (at least one), but the world leading innovator of casino games and software also regularly ‘upgrades’ existing games of which the above shown new Netent Black Jack table game is the first upcoming. WARNING: release date alert!
True to its own slogan ‘Better Gaming’ Net Entertainment enriches our online casino gaming ‘universe’ with the most innovative and exciting new video slots every month, but the Swedish-Maltese company also regularly upgrades existing (older) games to make sure they meet the standards of this ‘modern day and age’.
Most of the times when Net Entertainment carries out an update of one of its games (or several games from the same category) the ‘new and improved’ edition usually only shows some differences in visuals and design while the game play of both the old and new versions stays the same. For example, the Netent Caribbean Stud Poker table games (the Caribbean Stud Poker and the Caribbean Stud Professional Series) look slightly different, but their game-play is virtually the same, with the same rules, same pay-out percentage and same (local) jackpot to be won.
In other cases the ‘facelift’ of a game (besides ending up with a new ‘look’) also includes a ‘rearranging’ of its ‘special game features’. A good example are the Netent ‘Double Up’ video poker games (released in October 2014) that basically have the same game-play as their older predecessors All American, Deuces Wild, Joker Wild and Jacks or Better. However, at the latest released versions of the ever popular Netent video poker games the new ‘Double Up’ special game feature was added, thus ‘replacing’ the (slightly different) special game feature of the original Netent video poker games.
Sometimes however an upgrade results in a complete new game, of which jackpot video slot Mega Fortune Dreams can be considered an example. This game, that was launched on the 3-rd of July 2014, of course is the re-make of the famous record-holding and millionaire-making jackpot video slot Mega Fortune (that was released years earlier, in 2008 to be exact). But although the new ‘Dreams’ version unmistakably shows many resemblances with its predecessor (of which of course its jackpots are the most characteristic) at the same time in both design, game-play, rules and special game features video slot Mega Fortune Dreams differs so much, it might as well be considered a new game.
The upcoming new Netent Black Jack game as shown in the above footage seems to be based on the existing Netent table game Black Jack Professional Series. Like ‘Black Jack Pro’ a player can bet on 3 hands in a game round, Black Jack pays 3 to 2, the dealer must draw to 16 and stand on 17, hands can be split, bets can be doubled and hands can be ‘insured’ which in both games pays pout 2 to 1. The design of this new Netent Black Jack game however is clearly different, as shown especially when it comes to the game’s control buttons and options regarding its adjustable game settings. What the other similarities and differences are between the new Black Jack table game and its (apparent) ‘original’ Black Jack Professional we probably can only find out after the game’s release.
The new Black Jack game is scheduled to be released on the 23-rd of April 2015 on which date it will be available in many Netent Casinos adding the game to their portfolio of Netent table games. If you already want to know what the game-play of Black Jack (possibly) might be (and feel) like you can play the original Black Jack Professional Series for free on its game tutorial page on our Netent fansite.
