A couple of days ago Net Entertainment released a new showreel to present itself, what it stands for, its products and other relevant facts about this Swedish / Maltese online casino games producing company. Although primarily showing Netent ‘features’ that were also displayed in former company showreels, this time the video presentation seems to be more complete.
Net Entertainment same old Netent…
Of course Net Entertainment hasn’t undergone a radical change lately regarding its company vision, mission statement and / or other relevant features they want to communicate with their showreels to the public (because otherwise you would have read about it first over here). So many of the ‘statements’ made in the above footage showing the Netent characteristics were also visible in former company video releases.
For example, Netent in all its showreels (duly) emphasizes the company is an (iGaming) ‘industry pioneer since 1996’, an ‘award winning B2B provider’, a ‘leader in innovation’ and an ‘expert in regulated markets’. Other Netent ‘defining’ products always highlighted in their showcasing videos (and thus also in the above) are their Netent Live Casino and Netent Touch (mobile gaming) solutions.
However, in above presentation there are 2 interesting statements Net Entertainment makes we haven’t seen in any earlier company showreel, while at the same time they are (each in their own right) absolutely worth mentioning in any Netent company presentation.
Netent is a ‘selected partner, by top industry brands’
This first ‘new’ appearing statement of the showreel refers to the many (big) online casino operating brands Net Entertainment has signed a ‘license agreement’ deal with over the last 2 years. The first of those ‘top brands’ that come to mind are the UK based online casino operators such as William Hill, Paddy Power, and Ladbrokes all of which by now are providing Netent games to their players too. And more recently Netent agreed to provide their games to major Italian operators Lottomatica and GameAccount Network of which the latter has already launched a selection of the best Netent video slots in its online casino Eurobet.
The clearest example of how Net Entertainment and its products are appreciated by top industry brands however came when Netent announced it would be providing games to Full Tilt Poker websites in the near future too, with Full Tilt Poker being absolutely the biggest online poker gaming platform worldwide.
Netent provides ‘record breaking jackpots’
Although Netent actually did pay attention to its jackpot games in former showreels, it never did it as specific as in the above. And in a way the company expresses the fact quite ’modest’ (almost ‘misplaced’, if you ask me) because which of the other online casino games producing companies can boast an entry in the Guinness Book of Records as the company that has created a record jackpot paying video slot? We probably don’t need to remind anyone the Netent game in question was video slot Mega Fortune, which paid out a mind-blowing € 17.8 million to as lucky player in PAF Casino in January of 2013.
What will Netent show, in the next Netent showreel?
By showing 2 distinct Netent features that were almost completely omitted in other showreels we now have a more complete view on all Net Entertainment (and its online casino games) stand for. We can only guess which exciting or defining characteristic of the company will be shown (extra) in a next upcoming company showreel.
Maybe the (true) fact Net Entertainment is listed as a company on the Nasdaq OMX of Stockholm? Or the fact it employs 600 highly skilled professionals, all passionate for online gaming and contributing to realize the company’s mission statement (‘Better Gaming’)? Maybe the fact the company each year donates a part of its profit to charity?
There’s so much to tell about Netent… Maybe their next showreel should be a full-length feature film produced in cooperation with Universal Studios, just like some of the best (branded) Netent video slots!
