Netent Casino Betfair Signs New Deal in New Jersey

The USA is an incredibly exciting market for any online casino, and with New Jersey opening up to successful applicants, the race is on to get up and running ASAP. In order to operate in New Jersey, online Netent casinos have to partner up with an existing land based casino in Atlantic City, in order to operate using their license.
Betfair thought they had it all sewn up when they initially signed a deal with Trump Plaza, but things looked a little hairy when the land based casino closed it’s doors, for good, back in September. Businesses all over the world are struggling in the current economic climate, and even the gaming sector has struggled, with a number of bricks and mortar casinos calling it a day.
Luckily, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement helped to protect Betfair’s precarious future, by allowing them to continue using the Plaza’s agreement, partnership and license until they found something new.
A ray of sunshine then came to Betfair, in the form of a new partnership with Golden Nugget casino. Both sides of the deal are happy with the partnership and both expect a great 2015; with Betfair able to tap in to a lucrative USA audience, and Golden Nugget able to build relationships with players online now as well as offline in their casinos.
Betfair already saw a month-on-month growth in October with a pleasing increase of 11.5%. This deal is set to see both parties continue to grow and hopefully accelerate in 2015.
