Netent has taken one more step in solidifying its presence in the United States after entering into an online casino supplier...

Most gaming and casino lovers will have heard of PAF. Based in Åland they are licensed and controlled by the states monopoly, meaning they are the only online casino in the world to hold a license in Åland, issued by Ålands Penningautomatförening. Created as a charitable organisation originally, they still donate a huge amount of their profits to local charities, which really makes them stand out from other casinos and especially other monopoly run casino websites.
Now, they’re on a mission to take over the world, as demonstrated by their recent acquisition of the Italian brand, Winga. Winga has been operating for four years and currently employs just under 30 staff members, yet managed to turn a €10 million revenue in 2014 alone.
Winga is an interesting brand and a very attractive one for PAF, as not only do they run their online gaming operations, they also operate a local TV channel, which broadcasts daily via TV networks and online streaming.
“The acquisition of Winga is part of our strategy of continued internationalisation and expansion. We see great potential in Winga’s well-established operational base in combination with Paf’s international industry experience and broad range of products.
As a first step, we will expand Winga’s product range to include additional casino games and betting in the next few years.”

The Winga team are said to be very happy with the pairing too and I think the entire casino world will wait with bated breath to see how this expansion works out for Netent casino, PAF and where exactly it’ll take them next.
“Our market niche within casino TV in combination with Paf’s international gaming expertise makes me confident that together we can grow the business in Italy over the next few years.”
– Assen Diakovski, Winga CEO
