This day, the 23-rd of October 2014, really goes down into Netent history as the busiest day (so far) in the existence of the innovative casino game developing company. New video slot South Park: Reel Chaos was released, as well as no less than 4 ‘Double Up’ new Netent video poker games, and now we’re treated on a quite different, but nevertheless equally very interesting ‘release”… that of footage of the upcoming new Netent video slot The Invisible Man. Read on as the exact release date is known!
We were still busy adjusting the pages on our website with the game tutorials and Free Play versions of the today released new ‘Double Up’ video poker games All American, Joker Wild, Deuces Wild and Jacks or Better when we were pleasantly surprised by Net Entertainment, releasing footage of the upcoming new Netent video slot The Invisible Man.
This video slot is of course again a result of the cooperation between Net Entertainment and Universal Studios that already has lead to such exciting Netent video slot titles like video slot Frankenstein, video slot Scarface and video slot Creature from the Black Lagoon. And also this time the game is based on a (cult) hit-movie produced by the legendary Hollywood studios in the first half of last century (just like video slot Frankenstein).
The Invisible Man video slot is themed by the 1933 eponymous movie that, in its turn, was based on the in 1897 published novel written by H.G. Wells. It’s the story about an evil scientist, Jack Griffin, who (as a chemist) has turned himself invisible and uses his invisibility to try and dominate the world. After spreading death and terror all around for a while he’s eventually tracked down and killed.
On the with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed bet lines equipped video slot we see the main protagonists of the movie as symbols on the wheels, with The Invisible Man and his nemesis and persecutor Constable Jaffers both as a substituting Wild.
Whenever these wild symbols appear on the reels they start ‘walking’, moving one position to the left or the right with every re-spin that follows and keeps following as long as there are Wild symbols on the reels. The video slot has 2 bonus games and other exciting special game features are the Police Free Spins mode and the ‘win-both-ways’ characteristic.
Although video slot The Invisible Man doesn’t show any authentic visual material taken directly from the movie (as is the case in video slot Scarface and video slot Frankenstein) some of the sound effects are indeed samples of the original motion picture.
Video slot The Invisible Man will be released by Net Entertainment in December of this year, on Thursday the 11-th to be exact, and on the same day the game will also be playable in its Netent Touch version in the mobile section of the various Netent Casinos (see below).
