As we are a big lover of NetEnt products we aim to keep you in the loop as much as possible about the latest the development at our favourite game developer. Earlier in the month we already informed you that NetEnt is in the process of developing a live mobile casino and today we are giving a sneak peek behind the scenes of the making of this fantastic new product.
When it comes to developing a new product“making a good first impression is probably the most crucial thing” says Product Team Manager Laszlo Keczer in his approach in developing NetEnt’s live mobile casino. The company is keen to challenge the market. NetEnt wants to say: “there is a better way of doing that” and the aim is to come up with solutions. The game developer entered the online live casino scene relatively late, but Sam Brown, the Head of Live Casino says that it puts the company in a good position to judge what works and what doesn’t.
The number one focus in this endeavour is the user experience and again, as Keczer says, it’s the first impression that counts. The main challenges the company is facing are the use of brand new technology and the company is taking on a pioneering role in this regard. Front-end developer Marcus Goth sees it as the best part of his work; creating everything from scratch. “How we want it to work is completely up to us, which is very exciting.”
Development Manager Fayan Pourisa is very keen to make things better and to make things that players actually want. One of the big features of NetEnt Live Mobile is the portrait mode feature. This means you can play from your mobile device holding the screen vertically. “This feature doesn’t exist at the moment and we are sure it something players are going to like” she says.
For the making of NetEnt live mobile the company has partnered up with user-experience enterprise DesignIt with the aim to personalise the whole gaming experience as much as possible. For this product the two partners are aiming for the intersection between technology and user experience to create a product that is indeed great to use, has cutting edge streaming technology and a lot of customisable features.
Brown says: “We would like the mobile product to dominate. We want to develop a product that none of our competitors has been able to do and that is going to be a fantastic mobile casino. Pourisa says that this product will give NetEnt a great advantage. “We will be more agile and can respond to the market even quicker.”
With this product NetEnt remains top dog on the game development scene and fans like us can enjoy yet another fantastic online casino product. Stay tuned for the launch.
