Netent Trey Poker: very simple but also very exciting poker game

Netent Trey Poker very exciting poker table gameThere are many forms of the nowadays very popular poker game and in case you don’t know much about this card game yet, the poker table games developed by Net Entertainment Productions are a very good option to learn about its rules and game strategies. Netent poker table game Trey Poker is one of the most simple forms of poker but nevertheless very exciting too and possibly very profitable.

The word “Trey” in the name of Trey Poker stands for “three” and therefore, different from other versions of poker, played with only 3 cards. However, the goal of the game remains the same as all other poker games (except for LowBall poker) which means you need to get a better “poker hand” (a combination of cards) that is, according to the poker hand ranking, higher than the one of your opponent.

With Netent Trey Poker you first bet on the Ante after which you will get dealt 3 cards. The dealer also gets 3 (closed) cards dealt and at that moment you can decide to play or to stand, in which the latter case you lose your Ante bet and the game round is finished.

If you decide to play you will bet the same amount as the Ante once again and the dealer will show his 3 cards. Both hands are compared and of course the highest hand will win. The dealer however has to “qualify” first, which means he has to have a Queen or higher (King, Ace) in a “High Card” poker hand (no combination; the highest card of a hand wins). If the dealer doesn’t qualify, you automatically win the round (and you’ll only get the Ante bet paid back), even if the High Card of the dealer is higher than yours, but lower than a Queen.

In Netent Trey Poker you can also play a separate game which is called Pair Up. With Pair Up you’ll bet on getting 2 similar cards dealt (the poker hand “Pairs”; 2 cards of the same symbols, for example 2 seven’s; 2 cards of the same suit don’t count as a pair). If you get dealt a pair you win and each round you can wager both on the Pair Up game and the Ante/Play game at the same time or on each game separately.
