The final NetEnt instalment for Q2 2018 is none other than the January-announced Jumanji™ Video Slot! We didn’t have to wait long for the first new branded title, and we’ll all be waiting on tenterhooks until it reaches our desktop and mobile casinos on 21st June 2018. It’s going to be a busy month…
Considering there’s no scheduled slot addition in May from our favourite casino developer, they’re hitting us hard just as the football begins – and we couldn’t be more delighted!
Get yourself in the mood by watching NetEnt’s Jumanji™ Video Slot preview below.
Just as there is with any branded slot title, there’s an extra buzz going around the NetEnt Casino headquarters. NetEnt always seem to move into another gear when it comes to these releases, and the potential with Jumanji’s backstory is immense.
October 2017’s Planet of the Apes slot incorporated official clips from the movies, and the above Jumanji™ Video Slot trailer suggests something similar will happen.
Another aspect of Planet of the Apes is that it utilised two movies from the same brand, conceptualising the two-in-one slot with a Dual Reels feature.
Whether the casino Jumanji™ Video Slot story treads the same path, with a mix of content from the original 1995 and 2017’s Welcome to the Jungle, remains to be seen – but Caesar has certainly given us hope!
We’ve tried not to get too excited so far ahead, but unfortunately our imaginations have gotten the better of us.
We’ve been dreaming up potential Jumanji-specific features that could be included within this surefire hit, with so many iconic scenes and moments that can be recreated.
We’d be amazed if some form of Free Spins Round wasn’t included – with the player perhaps sucked into a new section of the slot to mirror the movie’s board game.
Also, we expect the symbols and artwork to be dominated by the various animals that the movie is famous for, with a jungle-style soundtrack heightening the tension.
Alas, we’ll just have to wait until the official game footage.
Despite this piece signalling the end of NetEnt’s Q2 roadmap, there was the small matter of NetEnt’s ICE announcements in London at the start of February – namely a Narcos slot and Vikings slot!
Okay, it’s a pretty big deal, as it marks the first time NetEnt will enter the Netflix arena – with Pablo Escobar in their sights.
Vikings has also struck up a huge, global audience since arriving on our screens – and we’re hoping that one of these will drop before the year’s out.
We’re already itching for the Q3 roadmap – greedy, we know – and we’ll update our new NetEnt 2018 casino games article as soon as we know more in a few months’ time.
