Arriving a week before release is our Lost Relics slot video review, giving you a greater look inside this title. Despite being announced fairly late by NetEnt, this casino game clearly hasn’t been hurried together – with several slot features to talk about. Grab your spade and trowels as we hunt for some casino artefacts!
Hit play on our Lost Relics video guide above to see that this is another Cluster Pays slot game.
To accommodate this payout structure, the grid has been adapted to a perfect square at five reels and five rows, but it differs slightly to other Cluster Pays games by requiring just six adjacent symbols to land a coin win.
Many of NetEnt’s other Cluster Pays slots need you to hit more icons, but Lost Relics isn’t so heavy handed.
Of course, exactly how much enters your account depends on many factors – your bet level, coin value, and the symbol in question.
Although the payout mechanism has changed, the icons are still worth different amounts – with NetEnt’s Lost Relics paytable explaining everything.
While playing Lost Relics, there’s not one, not two, but three random features that may occur during the main game. However, unlike other slots, they only appear during a winning spin – so you’ll have to wait until after the round is complete to see if you’re lucky.
There are three types of Random Features in Lost Relics:
This means a coin win of up to 30 times your bet can be given, or a maximum of 15 Wild symbols can be added to the board, or up to three Scatter Symbols can enter the fray.
Each can have a slight or dramatic impact, depending on the scenario.
Our above video review of Lost Relics also highlights the Hidden Chest Feature within the Free Spins Bonus Round.
Everyone’s favourite free spins are activated when three Scatter symbols land on the grid – usually on reels one, three and five, but don’t discount the Extra Scatter feature.
Chests of either small, medium or large size are then placed under the board. When the symbols form a combination, those spaces will be exhumed until a chest is fully visible.
You’ll receive a reward for doing this – such as additional free spins, Sticky Wilds or a coin win.
As you can see from our effort, the Hidden Chests prolonged our Free Spins Bonus Round considerably – allowing us to hunt for longer!
Up next on the Lost Relics schedule is release!
Unlike our other NetEnt slot video reviews, you haven’t got long to wait this time – as the game is set for Thursday 24th May.
