Today not only video slot South Park: Reel Chaos is launched, but Netent also released 4 brand new and exciting video poker games of which video poker All American Double is the first one we want to introduce to you.
Although Net Entertainment is most famous for its incredibly popular Roulette and Black Jack table games and, above all, for its (monthly expanding) collection of innovative video slots the company is also widely considered to have produced the best video poker games around.
All American Double Up
That’s why the Netent Casinos that offer their players video poker games normally also have the complete collection of Netent video poker games on offer, being of course video poker Deuces Wild, All American, Joker Wild and Jacks or Better.
Due to the popularity of these games Netent has decided to this year release the ‘revamped’ versions of their video poker products, all under their original name but with the extension ‘Double Up’ added and of which All American Double Up video poker is the first we want to introduce to our readers over here.
Video poker All American Double Up game play
Like its predecessor All American video poker also All American Double Up is played with a deck of 52 cards (that is shuffled every time before cards are dealt) and the goal of the game, like in all Netent video poker games, is for the player to form ‘poker hands’ (certain card combinations that represent a certain value) out of 5 cards dealt.
The poker hands that can be formed in all American Double Up are:
- Royal Straight Flush: A, K, Q, J, 10 from the same suit;
- Straight Flush: 5 consecutive cards from the same suit, 8, 9, 10, J and Q all of clubs for example;
- Four of a Kind: 4 cards with the same value (5, 5, 5, 5 for example)
- Full House: 3 cards of the same value and two cards of the same value, 5, 5, 5 and J, J for example;
- Flush: 5 cards from the same suit, 5 clubs for example;
- Straight: 5 consecutive cards from different suits;
- Three of a Kind: three cards with the same value, 5, 5, 5 or J, J, J for example;
- Two Pair: 2 times a pair, 5, 5 and J, J for example;
- Jacks or Better: a pair of Jacks, Queens, Kings, or a pair of Aces.
All these poker hands have their value in an amount of coins (depending on the bet level from 1 up to 5 which is played with) and which amount will be the multiplier of the coin value that was set. As in the multi hand versions (All American Double Up video poker can be played with 1, 5, 10 or 25 hands simultaneously per game round) various (similar) poker hands can appear the formula to calculate the payout in money per poker hand is: amount of poker hands x poker hand value (in coins) x coin value.
All American Double Up game feature
Besides the multi hand play option and the Jacks or Better extra poker hand video poker All American Double Up has the Double Up special game feature with which players can double their winnings up to 5 times.
After each winning game round a player can click the button ‘gamble’ to open the Double Up game. Five (face-down) cards are displayed, as well as the buttons ‘red’ and ‘black’. The player needs to bet (by clicking one of the buttons) whether the card to turn will be red or black of color. Each time (up to maximum 5 times) the player is right the winnings will be doubled, when wrong however all winnings will be lost.
