New Netent table game Black Jack 3 hands upcoming: a preview

Published on by Adam

New Netent Black Jack 3 Hands table game going live next ThursdayNext Thursday the 23-rd of April not only new ‘branded’ Netent video slot Dracula will be launched by Net Entertainment, but also the new table game Black Jack 3 Hands. Today I had the chance to experience the table game during a ‘sneak preview’ playing session, of which below my first impressions.

New Netent Black Jack 3 Hands ‘classic’ black jack card game

When in a former article I announced Net Entertainment would release a new Black Jack table game I expected the upcoming game to be a ‘new and improved’ version of the already existing table game Black Jack Professional Series. After all, from the video footage of the new game accompanying the article we could conclude that just like Black Jack ‘Pro’ also Black Jack 3 Hands could be played with (evidently) up to 3 hands, Ace + 10 (black jack) would pay out 3 to 2, ‘insured’ hands 2 to 1 and the dealer must ‘hit’ on 16 and ‘stand’ on 17.

But as it turns out now (and apart from the fact both games of course follow the same basic black jack card game rules and the same game play) the new Black Jack 3 Hands is a complete ‘new’ Netent Black Jack table game indeed, with a modern design and powered by the latest HTML5 technology providing for smooth and ‘state-of-the-art’ game play, yet with a ‘classic’ and ‘authentic’ black jack ‘feel’ to it (the latter in the sense it lacks the extra ‘side-bet’ feature available in Black Jack Professional Series).

Black Jack 3 Hands game play: what’s new?

As Black Jack in itself is quite a ‘complex’ card game in which many ‘options’ are possible during a game round and assuming most of our readers are familiar with the basic rules of the game I want to only highlight some specific features about Netent Black Jack 3 Hands over here:

  • Netent Black Jack 3 Hands is played with 6 decks of 52 cards (which are shuffled automatically before each game round);
  • Players can play with up to 3 hands per game round;
  • The minimum possible bet per hand is € 1,00 and the maximum bet is € 500,00 (which makes the game actually suited for both beginning players as well as experienced ‘high rollers’;
  • Players can ‘Split’ and ‘Insure’ hands, ‘Double’ initial placed bets and opt for the ‘Even Money’ feature;
    Dealer must hit on 16 and stand on 17;
  • Black Jack pays 3 to 2, Insured hands pay 2 to 1, a Win pays 1 to 1, Even Money pays 1 to 1 and a Push returns the bet to the player;
  • An acquired hand of 21 (thus non-‘Black Jack’) automatically ‘stands’ the hand (so watch out for not clicking ‘stand’ yourself because this will ‘stand’ the next hand you’re possibly playing);
  • The game has a very convenient display of the last 10 hands of the dealer, the player has the choice between 5 different background tunes (or none at all) and the games speed can be adjusted;
  • Netent Black Jack 3 Hands has a return-to-player pay out percentage of 99.59%.
