Video slot Stickers first game play (p)review and impressions!
Published on by Adam
Today I had (thanks to our excellent connections within the iGaming business) once again the privileged opportunity to already ‘preview play’ upcoming new Netent video slot Stickers, due to be released only next month, on the 21-st of May.
The advantages of being a Netentcasino.com editor
Today yours truly was offered the chance to already play upcoming new Netent video slot Stickers long before the game actually will be release. And as an editor of ‘The Leading Netent Fansite’ it’s of course not only my duty, but also my pleasure to share my first findings over here with our loyal readers and the general public.
It concerned the desktop edition of video slot Stickers (although the game will also be released as a Netent Touch mobile playable slot) and in the ‘Free Play’ practice mode (the same version all our readers will be able to play for free on our website on the day of its release, the 21-st of May).
Video slot Stickers game play
As it’s a free ‘fun play’ version of video slot Stickers I of course start with € 5.000 in play money. I set the bet level on 1 and the coin value on € 0,05, so I’m betting 20 coins per game round representing € 1,00 per spin.
As early as in the second spin I get a modest win which already shows a peculiar feature of video slot Stickers: before the game round ends any winning combination formed is immediately highlighted. So during the spin you already know something was won, while how much is only revealed and summed up after the reels have stopped spinning.
In the fourth spin a Wild symbol appears that not only substitutes for other symbols to form winning bet lines, but also triggers a so-called ‘Sticky Spin’ which is basically a free re-spin with the Wild symbol (as an overlay) sticking to its position on the reel. Whenever one or more other Wild symbol appears during the Sticky Spin another free ‘Sticky’ re-spin is granted, now with all Wilds (the new and the initially won) ‘sticking’ to the reels. As long as new Wilds keep appearing Sticky Wilds are granted.
I play for another hour or so during which various Wilds trigger sequences of several Sticky Spins and at one point I even had a sequence of 6 Sticky Spins, granting the ‘super mega win’ as above and below screenshots show.
My impressions of video slot Stickers
My first impressions of video slot Stickers are not only that it’s a very colorful and cheerful video slot (not in the least because of the uplifting background tune that accompanies the game play), but also immensely captivating (because of the Sticky Wild and Sticky Spin features).
While playing for example I noticed that Wild symbols don’t seem to appear as frequent on the reels of video slot Stickers as they do on the reels of other Netent video slots. Once they actually do however in a game round it’s very likely in the subsequent Sticky Spin free re-spin other Wild symbols will appear too.
And of course the more new Wilds keep appearing the more is substituted in the actual and following Sticky Spin that is granted, which all-in-all results in literally one big-, mega- or ‘super mega’ (big) win after the other (in subsequent Sticky Spin game rounds, that is). It really seemed as if Wild symbols were attracted to each other and needless to state this makes the player sizzling with anticipation (or at least I did) every time a Wild symbol appears.
Video slot Stickers: simplicity that sticks…
At first sight video slot Stickers might seem to be a quite ‘simple’ new Netent video slot as with only 2 special game features (the Sticky Wilds and the Sticky Spins) and based on a ‘classic’ slot machine design (the fruit symbols).
However, apart from the slot’s, in my opinion, ‘catchy’ game play there’s another very exciting aspect about Netent video slot Stickers that needs to be highlighted over here. It’s actually such an important feature it deserves its own article to be described, so keep an eye on our newsflashes over here to soon learn more about this ‘historic’ new Netent slot, yet to be released.
